Post Doctoral Students
The Katz Lab is seeking postdoctoral researchers to take a lead role on research into understanding the neural dynamics of taste perception. Specific projects will be explored in collaboration with the P.I., but in general will involve complex analysis of multi-electrode, multi-site neural recordings from active rodents, in association with behavioral control and real-time manipulations of connectivity.
Candidates will also be expected to help the P.I. with mentoring graduate students (a task that typically results in additional publications).
For insight into the Katz lab environment and the opportunities that it affords, please feel free to contact:
Anan Moran (an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv U; anan@tauex.tau.ac.il);
Joost Maier (an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest Medical Center; jmaier@wakehealth.edu);
Veronica Flores (an Assistant Professor at Furman University; veronica.flores@furman.edu);
David Levitan (a senior research associate at Hebrew U; david.levitan1@mail.huji.ac.il);
or Jian-You Lin (my current postdoc; jianyoulin@gmail.com).
To apply, please contact Don Katz (dbkatz@brandeis.edu) and include your CV, a statement of your research interests, and the names and contact information of 2 references.
