Linnea is a Scientist I on the Anatomy and Physiology team at Akouos. She is a systems neuroscientist and in vivo electrophysiologist by training, currently working on gene therapy treatments for hearing loss. Dr. Herzog joined Akouos in May 2022 after completing her postdoctoral training in Morgan Sheng's lab at the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She earned her Ph.D in Neuroscience from Brandeis University in February 2020, working in Don Katz and Shantanu Jadhav's labs. She previously worked as a lab technician at Boston University and received her B.A. in Neuroscience from Wellesley College in 2012.
